Through the combined efforts of Hybec staff, we are pleased to announce that we have raised the following:
For MacMillan - almost £160.00
For Loros - almost £700.00
Thank you to everyone who supported our staff and well done to the staff for their efforts.
We are now looking into our next fundraising adventure and will keep you posted.

The implementation of the EU
Directive on WEEE (Waste of Electrical and Electronic
Equipment) came into force in the UK on 1st
July 2007.
This requires that ‘producers’
of waste should finance the collection, treatment,
recovery and disposal of WEEE and so to fulfil
our obligations, Hybec Limited has joined the
Recolight compliance scheme. Recolight has established
a cost effective and efficient process for collecting
and recycling waste lamps under the strict rules
of WEEE and they will charge Hybec a fixed fee,
currently set at 15p, for every Gas Discharge
lamp we sell into the UK market, and hence all
Gas Discharge lamps invoiced to you on or after
1st July 2007 will bear this charge.
We have taken the decision to
make this separate fee visible to you on your
invoices (not all suppliers will show it) and
this fee is not subject to any discounts, but
does attract VAT.
This fee is applicable to all
fluorescent tubes both straight and shaped,
compact fluorescent lamps, and high intensity
discharge lamps.
